In law school, Mrs. Burnett served as the Secretary and Vice President of the Student Bar Association. Mrs. Burnett was a member of the Health Law Journal and directed the journal’s Symposium events. Additionally, Mrs. Burnett competed on the Moot Court team and served as the Summer Program Director for the Board of Advocates. She earned the Law Student for Justice award, served as an admissions ambassador and peer mentor, and worked as a LexisNexis Associate. Finally, she graduated from the Tennessee Bar Association Diversity Leadership Institute prior to completing law school.

Grace represents District 8 on the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers' Division Board. She has previously co-chaired the Carbolic Smoke Ball Committee with the Nashville Bar Association Young Lawyers' Division, and in 2026 she will be the Tennessee Bar/American Bar Association Liaison for the organization. Finally, she represents the Tennessee Defense Lawyers' Association as a member of the organization's Bench/Bar Committee and will serve as the Summer 2026 meeting chair.
