Selena grew up and currently resides in Tate County, MS. She is a mother of two boys and prior to law school served as an avionic mechanic for the Mississippi Army National Guard where she met her husband, Tanner. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Homeland Security from the University of Mississippi. Selena returned to the University of Mississippi for law school where she served as External Competition Chair of the Moot Court Board, Diversity Officer on the Executive Board of the Mississippi Law Journal, and was a student attorney for the Transactional Law Clinic. During her law school career, Selena was also awarded Moot Court Member of the Year and was chosen to serve as class marshal for the graduating class.
