Amanda Waddell Named to Board of Professional Responsibility Hearing Committee

 

The Tennessee Supreme Court has appointed Amanda Waddell to the Court’s Board of Professional Responsibility (TBPR) Hearing Committee for the Ninth District. The TBPR’s Ninth District encompasses Shelby County.

Waddell is a partner in the Memphis office of Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell, PLC (Rainey Kizer). At Rainey Kizer, Waddell is a member of the firm’s Malpractice Practice Group and its Tort and Insurance Practice Group. Her practice areas include medical malpractice, general insurance defense, and insurance coverage.

 

The University of Mississippi Law School graduate is a member of state bars in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi. She has extensive experience in state, federal, and multi-jurisdictional litigation. She is admitted to practice before all Tennessee State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, all Mississippi State and Federal Courts, and the 3rd, 5th, and 6th Appellate Circuits.

 

She is the Standards and Ethics advisor to the Gamma Eta Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, University of Memphis.

The Board of Professional Responsibility was tasked by the Tennessee Supreme Court in 1976 with aiding the Court in supervising the ethical conduct of attorneys.
