R. Dale Thomas Assumes Rainey Kizer Presidency on January 1,

As John Burleson Completes Term of Office

 

Jackson, TN (November 8, 2013) – R. Dale Thomas, a partner in the law firm of Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell PLC (Rainey Kizer) will assume the firm’s presidency on January 1, 2014.  Thomas will succeed John Burleson, who is completing his term of office.

At Rainey Kizer, the firm president continues to actively practice law, while also assuming responsibility for providing strategic leadership, managing firm business affairs, and supervising the firm administrator, who manages day-to-day operations.

Thomas has been associated with Rainey Kizer since his graduation with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1988.  Thomas practices in the areas of general civil and commercial litigation, workers’ compensation, employment law, insurance coverage, trucking law, and education law.

Burleson focuses his practice in the areas of employment law litigation (representing employers only), municipal law, federal civil rights litigation, workers’ compensation, commercial litigation, and general tort litigation.  Burleson, a 1983 honors graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law, has been associated with Rainey Kizer since that time.
