Mansfield to Serve as 2017-18 President of TDLA & Nelson Recipient of TDLA’s 2017 “Rising Star” Award

Michael Mansfield, a native of Crockett County, Tennessee, will serve as the 2017-2018 President of the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association (“TDLA”).  TDLA is a group of over five hundred defense lawyer that works to improve trial practice and civil litigation standards throughout the state of Tennessee.

 

Mansfield received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.  He is a partner in the law firm of Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell, PLC, and has been practicing with the firm since 1997.  Mansfield focuses his practice on defending insured and self-insured people and entities in worker’s compensation, trucking/automobile accidents and premises liability cases throughout the state.

 

Adam Nelson, a native of Milan, Tennessee, was the recipient of the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association’s 2017 “Rising Star” Award.

 

Nelson graduated from Milan High School in 2006.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin and received his Law degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.  He is an associate with the firm of Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell, PLC in Jackson, Tennessee where he has practiced since obtaining his law degree in 2014.  Nelson focuses his practice on tort and insurance defense and employment law.
