James Thompson appointed by State of Tennessee Lieutenant Governor Randy McNally to serve as a member of the Advisory Council on Workers’ Compensation
James Thompson has been appointed by State of Tennessee Lieutenant Governor Randy McNally to serve as a member of the Advisory Council on Workers' Compensation representing employers. James will be one of six voting members on the committee, his seat representing employers throughout Tennessee. James has represented and counseled employers and insurers in workers’ compensation matters for over 20 years and practices in both Tennessee and Mississippi.
The Advisory Council on Workers' Compensation exists to provide information, research, and recommendations concerning workers' compensation issues to the Tennessee General Assembly, the Department of Commerce and Insurance, and the Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
