TDLA Announced A.J. Parker as Secretary/Treasurer & Grace Benitone Burnett as Rising Star

This September, Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association announced its Executive Committee for 2025–26 and welcomed Allan Parker as TDLA Secretary/Treasurer.

TDLA also announced its award winners for 2025. Congratulations to Grace Benitone Burnett, the recipient of TDLA's Rising Star Award. The Rising Star Award honors a TDLA member who has been practicing law 10 years or less and who has made significant contributions to TDLA, to the defense bar, and/or who has promoted the interests of young lawyers in Tennessee this year.

The TDLA is a group of lawyers primarily engaged in civil defense litigation, who have the opportunity to exchange ideas, techniques, and information through the association. The TDLA strives to improve trial practice by supporting high standards for litigation practice and courtroom manners within the adversarial system of jurisprudence.
