V. Grace Benitone Burnett

Grace Benitone is an Associate with Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell, PLC, in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a member of the Firm’s Tort and Insurance Practice Group. Grace’s practice focuses on civil litigation defense, with an emphasis on automobile liability, premises liability, and other insurance-related matters. Grace joined the firm after graduating from Belmont University College of Law in Nashville.

Grace was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, spending much of her time playing competitive soccer. She graduated from St. Agnes Academy and subsequently earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a concentration in Organizational studies, from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. From thereon, she moved to Nashville to attend law school at Belmont. While at Belmont, Grace served as Secretary and Vice President of the Student Bar Association, as well as the Symposium Director for the Belmont Health Law Journal. In addition to competing on the school’s Moot Court team, she served as the Board of Advocates Summer Program Director. Before clerking for Rainey Kizer during law school, she worked at the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office on the DUI team, allowing her to develop a broad understanding of litigation by participating in the prosecution of criminal cases. She graduated from Belmont with a Certificate in Health Law and as a Tennessee Law Student for Justice.

Grace makes her home in Nashville with her husband, daughter, and Australian Shepherd, Obi. In her spare time, she enjoys running in her neighborhood, cooking with her husband, and traveling with friends and family.
