Five Top Law Students Named Summer Associates at Rainey Kizer

Jackson, TN (June 25, 2012) –Five outstanding law students have been selected as summer associates for 2012. The summer associates work closely with the firm’s licensed attorneys by providing legal research and assisting in cases, and will be based in the firm’s Jackson and Memphis offices.

Thomas Gossett, Heather Grossner and Vincent Nord will work in the firm’s Jackson, TN office while Kate Mara and Elizabeth Mischke will be in Memphis. All of the summer associates have completed their second year of law school.

About the summer associates:

Thomas Gossettis a student at the University of Tennessee College of Law where he is in the top 10 percent of his class and a member of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. He earned an undergraduate degree in business at the University of Tennessee at Martin, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Heather Grossner also is in the top 10 percent of her class at the UT Law School and earned her undergraduate degree in business at UT Martin. She is a member of the Tennessee Law Review and of Transactions.

Vincent Nordis the third of four summer associates to attend the UT Law School, where he is a research assistant in the law library. He graduated Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Kate Maraattends the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis where she is a member of the university’s Law Review. She is the recipient of The Dean’s Awards for Excellence for Best Memorandum and Best Legal Brief. The Cum Laude Rhodes College graduate earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Elizabeth Mischke attends UT Law School where she is Second Year Editor of the Tennessee Law Review. She graduated Cum Laude from University of the South with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
