Rainey Kizer’s John Arnold Authors Tennessee Bar Journal Cover Story

 

Nashville, TN (March 18, 2014) – John Arnold, an attorney in with Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell PLC (Rainey Kizer), authored the cover story for the March edition of the Tennessee Bar Journal, an official publication of the Tennessee Bar Association.

 

The article, “PRIVACY: What Lawyers Must Do to Comply with HIPAA,” discusses the compliance challenges and liabilities lawyers now face following recent changes to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

 

Arnold practices in Rainey Kizer’s healthcare and business groups.  He joined the firm after graduating cum laude from St. Louis University with his J.D. and a Certificate in Health Law.  Arnold’s practice focuses on assisting healthcare providers and suppliers with transactional and regulatory compliance matters, including HIPAA, federal and state anti-kickback and self-referral laws, professional and facility licensure, and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement.  In addition, he negotiates and prepares physician employment agreements and counsels clients on third party payor audits and Medicare/Medicaid program integrity audits.
